Universal Basic Income

Terrorists, Cyber crime, Hacking, Bank robbers, Blackmailers, Scammers, con artists, Welfare abusers, Suicide, Bums on the street.

These are some of the causes of money or the lack thereof. What if we could eliminate these problems?  If we could eliminate money, then that would work but of course that is never going to happen, at least in our lifetime. What if we just gave people money? Who? Everybody!

If everyone always had an income all the time it might clean up our streets, stop a ton of crimes, lower our stress levels, and allow us to do what we want to do with our time.

I scoffed at this idea when I first heard about it, laughed out loud. But after reading a ton of information about this topic I started to think that it may just work.

Apparently there are a ton of robots being produced, Artificial intelligence is also growing at an exponential rate, when you combine these two together these smart robots are going to replace us in the workplace. What happens when there are no jobs and a robot can do a task a thousand times better than you can.

Here is one article I found, but  there is a ton of info out there on UBI:

What would be the implications if this came to be?  I have nightmares of  Wall-E becoming a reality (Disney Pixar movie)  But I honestly do not think this is the case if you read how it might be implemented into society.

Tax payers in the higher tax bracket already are heavily taxed just to pay for welfare and other subsidiary services.  This would lower their taxes, while getting people off welfare at the same time.  Basically it boils down to the extremely rich pay for the extremely poor.  If you think this is unfair, well guess what, it's already happening right now and has been for the last century.  This is not a new concept at work here.  It's a reworking of an old outdated concept.

What would you do with your Universal basic Income?
