I hear, on occasion, when someone experiences something incredibly unique to them, a statement of perfection. This view is perfect! She is perfect. Those two are the perfect couple. This is the perfect car. This supper is perfect. What exactly is perfect and can the whole population of the earth agree on it?
Perfection is in the eye of the beholder, so if you take one persons perspective, I guess from their point of view it would be perfect. To another person that same thing that the first person thought was perfect the second person might think it's deeply flawed and not anywhere close to perfect. So who is right? They both are, but then you could say that the object in question is neither perfect nor imperfect. It would only be an opinion.
If every person in the planet were to agree on something as perfection then it would be hard to debate that it wasn't. I highly doubt that will ever happen in any lifetime or in any future that is yet to come. I think this because everyone has different thoughts and views on every subject and while some people might agree, others don't.
Having diversity among every individual is key to living, in my opinion, and if we all agreed on the same thing I don't think we would be progressing forward as a species like we have been. If everyone agreed that wearing wooden blocks on our feet for shoes was good enough, we would never have advanced to our running shoes and different types of boots.
While writing this an epiphany came to me, I started out thinking that there was no such thing as perfection, as we all view things differently, but as a people, and growing and constantly moving forward we need that diversity and different ways of thinking to continue on as we have been, and that in itself could be considered perfection, a perfection we can all agree on.
