A "Nice" Fight

Sometimes people come off as too nice, and it's frigging creepy.  Have you ever had a fight with someone about the last slice of pizza?

No, it's okay you have it, no thank you I am full you can have it, but you bought it, you should have the last piece, like I said, I don't want anymore, but it will bother my conscience if I took it, and I can't do that to you, if you are still hungry then take it, maybe you will want it later so I will leave it for you. If you don't take it then I'm going to throw it in the garbage. I will take it but only if your absolutely positive it is fine.

There are manners and there are feelings to take into consideration with all things, but for crying out loud let the insanity stop already!  There should be an unwritten rule that when someone says that it's ok then that gives that person's right to get upset about the matter over and done with.

Where do you want to go for supper is another huge pain in butt, when you are try to be nice and accommodate the other person. You start out trying to so nice but in the end it usually ends up in frustration and anger.  It's usually because both parties are trying to be nice to each other and nobody pick anything.

Where do you want to eat? How about you pick? I can eat anywhere so it's your choice. It doesn't matter where we eat to me either so you decide. I picked last time so you pick this time.  At about this point both parties are getting annoyed with each other and the whole nice thing is stressing everybody involved out.  If it were me in this situation I would pick the grossest place I could think of and see where it goes from there.  How about Yum Yum Foody Goody Buffet in the trailer park?

Let's keep our niceness at a certain level, give each other the common courtesy of their opinion but if they concede then, take the reins and lead the horses back into town people!  If you don't you will only find that you will be forever falling with your nice parachute that you have discovered is only a backpack, it's going to be a hard landing.
