Climate change is a thing, after it was first conceived that the planet was heating up due to increased carbon emissions, and the skeptics were put in their place, the world seems to be in agreement that radical changes need to happen in order to halt and reverse the problem.
Having the whole planet agree and work together to solve a problem is an excellent start to future endeavors that involve working together instead of fighting and warring against one another. But while the world is working towards a common goal, I'm wondering if we aren't overlooking another possible outcome for everyone's futures.
Look past cooling the planet, and imagine that we have finally come to that day when we are celebrating the fact that the earthlings have stopped global warming and the planet is cooling off. We have skyscrapers that scrub carbon from the air as it passes by, cars that are fully autonomous using only electricity, lab grown meat that doesn't put methane and carbon gasses back into the atmosphere from livestock feces. We have a complete solar and wind generation system in place that goes above and beyond any and all energy needs that the population demands and the earth continues to cool.
How do we stop the cooling? Are we going to enter into an new type of climate change where we have global cooling due to the future engines put in place to cool the planet, a second ice age? How would we stop it?
Reintroduce coal, oil, and gas factories? Bring back gas powered engines? Essentially regress back to a system that was the cause in the first place? As a species we need to continually move forward in order to progress into a future society and going backwards is never an option. I hope the scientists of the world realize this could be an outcome from all of our cooling efforts and they have a plan for total equalization of our atmosphere, a balance of the perfect temperature.

Epic Physics, Undiscovered Hypothesis
There is a type of physics that most of us are familiar with, and instead of going through them all I am going to simply call them "World Physics" which involves thermo, nuclear, gravity, force and mass, mechanical and all other physics that we can see, hear, feel and touch.
The second type of physics is quantum physics, it's the type that is in the microscopic realm, and we can't see or feel its forces, yet we can observe them with computers and microscopes. We are just starting to apply those new found types of physics into modern life. A Quantum computer has been built, and an entangled signal that uses no radio signal or wires to transmit, is being developed.
I have a hypothesis on a third type of physics, and it is my belief that if there is my current 2 types of physics World and Quantum, then there is probably more types that we don't yet know about.
A third type of physics which I am going to call "Epic Physics" is based on the unfathomable size of the universe and the rules it must follow to exist the way it does. If we were on the outside of the universe looking in, we might be the quantum size to that viewer, To them, black holes are a normal occurrence when galaxies form, and are needed for stability. The universe has its own physics that we are not aware of yet.
The physics of the universe as a whole must be different than our worldly or quantum physics and thusly the current physics that we currently use cannot fully explain the many occurrences and unknown happenings in deep space that are currently baffling scientists, such as dark matter, tachyon particles, and super massive black holes.
Everything we have discovered in science follows a complex set of rules for them to work synchronously together as a whole. Where does the microscopic meet standard size? Where does standard size meet the universal? There is a change in physics the smaller we search and therefore it stands to reason that the same must be true when we search to the unfathomably large, such as the universe and beyond.

365 Days Later, The End Of My Blog
It has been an interesting journey, I have written 1 blog a day for three hundred and sixty five days in a row without fail, which has been my goal from the beginning, even though I have wanted to quit many times. The amount I have learned along the way has been a unique eye opening experience and I have new skills that I've earned on my journey.
I remember having all these ideas in my head at the beginning, with new ideas coming in every day, but after a month of writing everyday my infinite idea train came to a slow crawl, and I had to constantly think about five or six topics daily to try to stay ahead of the game, so I had something to write about in the future.
As I wrote each blog, my typing skills, spelling, and error checking got better and I have been practicing typing without looking down. I have researched so much information on the net that I am beginning to feel like a professional investigator, weeding out the lies from the truth while searching for proof that backs up my articles.
At the beginning there were not that many people that read my blog, but before I knew it I had over a hundred views a day, until I came across an article on how to make money on your blog with advertising, which was a feature offered by "Blogger" the media app I decided to write blogs on. As soon as I got the advertising up and running my blog went from 100 people a day to 10 people a day and has stayed there ever since. My advertising made me a whole whopping 2.06 that's two dollars and six cents over 5 months, not worth it.
I would like to thank my sister Kim, and my wife Kimberly who have been my biggest fans and has supported me from the beginning, sharing my blogs daily even if she didn't read them or agree with the topic, my other sister Leigh did quite a lot as well, but not as much as her sister. I appreciate their opinions and efforts that they contributed.
And to my friends, Ben, Dean, Francis, Jason, and my cousin Dana who read my blogs on a daily basis as well, I don't have any info on what they shared but I did get feedback from them at times which was very much appreciated.
I started this because I thought I had something to contribute to the world, some really good ideas that I hope helped some people out or perhaps had an impact on how they looked at the world. Some of my most popular posts were:

It was a good experience in my opinion, to set yourself a goal and follow through with it to the end, and make sure you give yourself and end date, how else will you know that you have completed your task?
Now after 365 days of brain straining to write something, I am going to take a much needed break for awhile, but don't worry, I will come back from time to time to voice my unusual opinion on the events that really hit close to home for me. It won't be every day but it will be on occasion.
Thank you again everyone who has supported me.

School Is No Substitute
School is no match for experience, and the smartest A plus honor student who has memorized every procedure can't hold a candle to someone who has been a hands on expert for most of their life.
Some things just can't be taught in a classroom, and while you might know protocols and procedures that have been indicated in your textbook, it might be a completely different scenario once you encounter problems with hands on experience.
Someone who has never been to school and has learned from their peers at a young age has an advantage over the college graduate. Hands on experience at the job, a social group that they can call upon for advice, different ways to combat varying degrees of temperature changes which affects their worksite, which is something you will never learn in school.
I have never been impressed with a new worker at any job who constantly lets me know their grades and how smart they are, the proof is in the pudding, or put your money where your mouth is, and most importantly, don't tell me how much you know and how good you are, show me instead.
School is the basis for a job or career that you want to enter into, and it has it's merits but in my opinion, experience is the best teacher. There is, however, one problem that a long term career oriented person tends to obtain, is the lack of being able to change their ways. Learning to do tasks only one way for 40 years tend to do that.
Figuring a way to do something that has never been explained in a book takes a certain type of brain, and someone who has been at the same job for 20 plus years obviously has that type. If you can learn something from someone else and make it even better with your own ideas then that is your own personal type of genius and something for which School is No Substitute.

A Smarter Future
There was a time when people used to think that flying in an airplane was impossible, the brilliant minds back in that era had dictated that man was not meant to fly and therefore a waste of time to study how to do it. With some imagination and a lot of failed attempts the Wright brothers figured out how it could be done, despite all the negative and nonbelievers that told them it was impossible.
This type of reaction to any type of technology still goes on in this day and age, and I have to wonder why there are scientists and researchers out there that still claim all manner of things that could be possible, impossible.
The reason we study history (so I'm told) is to learn from our mistakes from the past and not to repeat them in the future, or the present. If this is the case then why don't those intelligent people understand that we can figure out how something could be done even if we don't know how to make it right now.
I think one of the reasons is hubris, if you take a particularly proud person, who has had success in their life, but they can't figure out a problem, they simply claim it can't be done to save face, they can't admit that they aren't smart enough to figure it out, and lose the respect of their peers.
People said that we would never have an untethered phone line, that we would always have to be plugged in to a wall socket. Space flight would never happen, there would never be a computer small enough for a house (They used to fill warehouses). We could never cure aids, measles, or chicken pox.
There are some things that we have overcome and thrived and there are some things that we haven't overcome...Yet. I believe that all things will be possible with dedication, trial and error and the biggest thing, time.
Cancer will be cured, as well as all diseases related to old age, surgeries will no longer leave scarring, the common cold will be gone, children will be born without abnormalities and be perfectly healthy. Spaceflight will take a huge leap with some sort of warp drive or wormhole generator. 3D printing with be able to make a perfect replica of any body part, Ageing where you look like a wrinkled prune and have the mind of an infant will be eradicated and no longer an issue.
I believe these things will happen at an even faster rate if we stop saying something can't be done and to keep trying without giving up. I'm looking forward to A Smarter Future.

Nobody Is Innocent
Innocent until proven guilty by a court of law, right? This is how law works in this country, everyone is deemed innocent first. What a stupid concept. Everything is reported these days, from people who are not fact checkers, but are instead, chronic gossipers, people spreading rumors like sprinkled sugar and we eat it up.
The people of this country will decide who is innocent or guilty, and the court of law can do nothing about it. If someone in your community is suspected of being involved in a rape investigation, even if they are completely innocent, they will be judged guilty if a finger is pointed in their direction as a possible subject.
Everyone jumps to conclusions, and if you don't particularly like someone to begin with it will be much easier to judge them as guilty before you even hear any evidence. Who out there has been the perfect person and never made a mistake or been bad? Anyone, ever? No, yet we are so eager to point the finger and accuse others when we ourselves do not have the right to do so.
By the same token, a man is caught on camera robbing a bank, the people in the bank recognize him as the robber, the police catch him in the bank red handed and in the act of a criminal activity, they get him out of the bank and into the police car and they call him a suspect. That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. No court, no jury, do not pass go and go directly to jail, that is what should happen in that case. There is no doubt in anyone's mind, that this guy is guilty.
When proof is needed however, we have to very careful who we single out as a suspect while pointing possible fingers. Simply being suspected of a crime will force you to move to a different country after your peers have judged you. Being accused of being a pedophile I think is probably the worst thing that could happen to you, even if you are innocent. Nobody will talk to a suspected baby raper, you will lose your job, friends, and possibly the community will band together to bring you and your family harm. Even if you have done nothing to deserve it.
That is what this world has come to, the over inflated false claims of media and untrue tales from gossipers who want attention. Be careful who you point a finger at, because one day it could be you who is accused, and to the whole world around you, Nobody Is Innocent.

Public Space Flights
Spacex is a new company trying to privatize spaceflight, they build their own rockets and ships, free from government interference and NASA. This company wants to take the average person into space if that individual can afford it. If you or I had the money, would we go and experience it?
I have always wanted to experience the weightless that being in space provides, that and to see our beautiful blue planet from outer space. Before I did that I would want certain aspects of the experience to be fine tuned first. There is a certain amount of thrust you need to break out of the earth's gravity and into orbit, the G force apparently is incredible and a normal person would black out when he or she was subjected to it without proper training.
Then we have the problem of being in space if we have made it successfully into orbit, the space station. Despite what you may think, the station itself is pretty small, you are basically in a long tube surrounded by delicate electrical panels, wires, and hoses. There are no extra sleeping quarters or private washrooms. There is a fine dust that is always floating around with you, and it will be inhaled with every breath, that dust is actually dead skin cells, or maybe beads of sweat from other people. They have to constantly clean the space station manually every day for their own health. Imagine 5 new lazy ass tourists coming to stay for few days.
Maybe Spacex needs to start building a hotel first, before deciding to take non astronaut participants with a lot of money, up to the station for a visit. This trip sounds like a nightmare at the moment and not a very fun experience and the worst is yet to come.
When you leave the station and have to come home, you get to do it in the same way as every other astronaut, free fall through the atmosphere in a burning fireball before you land in the ocean, hopefully with everything in working order, especially your GPS for the company to be able to find you.
There is a lot of work to be done if they are planning it to eventually be public. For it to viable they are going to need to have the trip be a smooth ride there and back, a place to stay where I'm not huddled together with 7 other people in a tube, and an almost 100 percent safety guarantee or some incredible safety specs. If you lose power on a ship on the water, someone can come help you, if it happens in space, you are on your own.
I think they are ahead of themselves, and Spacex needs to do a lot more before anyone will be going on a Public Space Flight.

Instruction Manuals
If you have ever bought anything and had to put it together yourself, but have never done so before, you can thank your lucky stars that almost anything you buy that you have to fabricate, will come with an instruction manual.
Some of these manuals are easy to understand with pictures and explanations, but for the most part they are vague at best but will get the job finished with some frustration. Thankfully for some people, if they have built something before, they don't need the manual unless its for a quick reference.
I have bought more than one barbecue over the years, and every single time you do buy one, you have to assemble them yourself, but because I have assembled one before I usually don't use the manual, I'm handy and I can see what needs to go where. (minus a few screws) I have also been thoroughly frustrated with the lack of, or unclear directions and have had to muddle through it myself figuring it out along the way.
The problem with most manuals is that you have no idea of what you are going to get until you open the box. Everyone is so dazzled by the end product or the idea of what they're buying that they don't take a moment to wonder about the difficulty of putting it together in the first place. You never know when you are going to get good instructions or bad ones.
Why is it, that as a consumer, there is a quality control and regulation in place for a product, but not for the way it's put together? There should be a standard of excellence when selling something that need an instruction manual, and it should one of the most important pieces in the box.
Having an in depth description and a 20 page booklet is not what I'm going for here. That is too much information and easy to be overwhelmed before you even open it, but a folded single piece of paper isn't going to cut it either, as it won't explain enough. I think there should be a 3 to five page minimum on all products, with some exceptions of course, but you should never get less than three pages.
Of course this is all just my opinion as usual, and you can decide if you even want to use the manual in the first place like I do.

Expensive Furniture, Crappy Tools
My wife and I were looking at patio sets for our deck and after searching for one we liked we decided to purchase it. A four piece set came in one small box and I knew that I was going to have some work to do, putting it together. As you would expect with most four piece sets of anything furniture
related you are looking at a price tag upwards of a thousand dollars for
some nice pieces, and it's my opinion that the tools should match the
product.
As with most things that you buy and have to put together yourself, the package of course came with an instruction manual and it's own tools, in this case, a bunch of hexagonal allen key nuts and one allen key.
The instruction manual had terrible pictures, and was very brief, I actually couldn't tell what one picture was depicting as it was all in one color (if black and white is a color) and looked like an origami design. I muddled through and figured out what to do, as I am pretty handy and can figure out most things.
Now to the hardware and the tools, The allen key bolts are made from a terrible type of metal, one that deforms and stretches if too much force is applied. The key itself was stronger but small, and I have to wonder what the hell the manufacturer is thinking when they decide that this was a good design choice.
If you have ever tried to use an L shaped allen key that can't make a full rotation on fine threaded bolts in a small area, you will know true frustration, the key has to fit perfectly in the head, and be straight up and down for it to work properly, if it doesn't the cheap as f**k bolts will strip and you won't be able to tighten them or remove them from their tiny area. If you do get a perfect fit, you might get a quarter turn before you have to remove the cheap ass tool and do it all over again, get a perfect fit one hundred times without fail on one bolt, and the good news is that you have thirty bolts to line up and tighten. A good thing to do before you start would be to have a few stiff drinks, to calm the nerves.
This system of crappy tools being shipped with expensive furniture or appliances needs to change, it happens if you buy a barbecue, desk, bed frame, patio furniture and whatever else that you have to put together. It is the exact reason I will not go to IKEA for anything, ever.

Slow Integration
Self driving cars are not right around the corner, the problem and lack of internet services in remote locations as well as unforeseen glitches plague the technology. One of the main hurdles for a self driving car is that not everyone can afford one. There is not an artificial intelligence algorithm out there that can compensate for human error, and the people who don't have a self driving car would be the main hazards of those that do.
What I'm noticing now is that some of the features of self driving vehicles is starting to be integrated into newer vehicles, there is a lane crossing warning that beeps to warn you that you have gone over the line in an intersection if you haven't signaled, there is an automatic slow down when travelling in cruise control and you come up to another vehicle and your vehicle automatically slows you down and keeps pace with the traffic.
There is automatic parking assist, back up cameras, collision sensors, airbag sensors, GPS monitoring, and automatic in distress notifications. Some vehicles have one or all of these features integrated into their systems depending on the make or model of the car.
There are a few exceptions that I have seen where a fully autonomous self driving truck delivers beer but these are just tests along long stretches of non busy highways, they are not in full production yet, but they are slowly getting more and more integrated technologies installed into them along with constant upgrades.
What truly troubles me about an update to your vehicles system, is when someone screws up. How many times has your phone been updated with a new system that is supposed to improve upon an existing foundation, only to find that your phone has completely changed and you don't know how to find anything? There is no manual and you have to fiddle with by trial and error.
Now imagine this happens to your car the night before you have to go to work the next day, you hop in your car and your settings are all different and there are new things that you have no idea how to use. If it were a self driving car this would not be a problem and your vehicle would simply take you to work, drop you off at the front door and then go park itself.
We are getting closer to the self driving car, but it's going to be a Slow Integration.

Your Dream Job
All of us have to go to work, some of us love our jobs but most of us hate it. Then there are some of us who don't mind the job and what they are really doing is the bare minimum to earn a paycheck. What would you do if you had a choice? If there was nothing to hold you back or years of schooling to muddle through before you got to where you wanted, what would be your dream job.
In a fantasy world where I imagine I would be happiest, I always thought Hugh Hefner had a pretty awesome job. Being the owner and president of Playboy Magazine would be a cushy gig. Beautiful women running around in skimpy outfits or naked altogether, money rolling in by the truck load, a big mansion, and parties everyday seems like every guys dream.
But I truly think this would get old after awhile, the same thing happening every day, women would be mere objects to you, a way to make money and satisfy your primal urges, other than that they would become useless and annoying. I imagine you probably wouldn't get to know anyone on a deeper level, the women themselves would be fake and suck up to you all the time, as well as the men in your employment. A true friend would be hard to find and a spouse even harder.
Rock star is another job I think would be the ultimate way to make money and love your life at the same time, It could get busy and hectic at times but it would be worth it. The reward for your hard work besides the money would be the fans who love what you have written from your heart and soul, that is more rewarding than any sort of monetary gain in my opinion. Once again though it would be hard to meet anybody that you could trust, gold diggers would be everywhere.
In a normal world where I might love my job, would be in video game design and ideas. I love a good story, art, music, gameplay, and new ideas. To be surrounded with other people who are like minded and creative as well would be a great experience. Feeding off each others ideas and expanding upon an already great concept is something I would truly enjoy.
What would you dream job be? Fantasy or otherwise.

Augmented Reality
Virtual Reality is a piece of hardware you put on your head which shows you a completely 3D rendered space in which you can move around in and interact with. It feels like you are somewhere else and is quite impressive when you enter into a new fantasy world that doesn't exist in reality. Sometimes, however, you can feel disconnected with that world because the hand controls are not responsive and you are blocked by an unseen force that will not allow you to go into certain areas. As the technology grows the immersiveness will only get better.
Augmented reality is another piece of hardware which you wear on your head but you can still see the world around you, like the inside of your house, office, backyard, or wherever, but in those spaces it can project images that appear like they are right in front of you and you can interact with. Let's say you wanted to see what different types of furniture would look like in your house without having to go out and buy them, or a different paint color on your walls without painting.
It has other interesting applications as well, such as simply having a conversation with your friends or loved ones, and they would appear as if they were standing there in front of you. If you needed ideas for your job or collaborate with colleagues from around the world you could easily do this as well. It also can be directly linked to your cell phone and the two pieces of technology can interact with each other seamlessly.
I think this is going to be a huge success in the future with endless possibilities. I have provided a link with a short video that you can watch here: Augmented Reality

Lego
When I was growing up, I had a huge box of Lego and it was all in different shapes and sizes with a multitude of different colors. I had no instruction manual or key for which piece belonged to what set. I had a bunch of Lego men that I could set up and arrange in an army fashion or have them stand off against each other.
The whole purpose of having Lego was to use your imagination, to build something from scratch from your mind's eye. That creativity that comes from within is lost when we are told how to build it and which piece goes where.
You will be hard pressed to find a box of Lego that is just blocks and pieces anymore, and if you do it may be online and cost a fortune. There are rip off blocks that try to emulate the Lego brick, but they are not as well made and some of the pieces don't fit together.
Everything that is Lego these days has a theme that it follows, from Batman to Star wars to Pirates of the Caribbean, and these sets costs a lot of money for simple plastic bricks, but the designs and trade names cost money too and that is where the cost rises.
The problem with Lego being themed is that it puts a date on them, when is a certain style of Batman no longer be interesting or the Indiana Jones Lego set become boring and nobody wants to play with it anymore.
We are getting lost with the purpose of Lego, it is a mainstream themed toy that quickly gets replaced by a newer model.
The whole purpose of Lego, is that you had a box of never ending toys, if you got bored with a toy that you had constructed, you could simply break it down and make a new one. The construction was fun and playing with the toy afterwards was as well.
Lego the company should bring back the cheaper huge box of multiple pieces for a decent price, and let kids start using their minds again, it probably was the smartest toy in the world but has now settled into a sideshow attraction.

My Anthem Review
As most of you know I am a gamer, and a new game called Anthem has been released. There was a lot of hype surrounding this game when a video surfaced about 2 years ago, With the game finally being released there is a mixed bag of reviews out there ranging from terrible to fantastic.
The Bad:
As I play this game, I find myself wondering if the developer reviewed any of the problems associated with other online only role playing games and used those issues as an example of what not to do. I wonder this because it seems to me that they did not. The loading times are atrocious and you find yourself constantly waiting for the game to load all the time.
Why did I have to pick a character at the beginning of the game when you never get to see them or personalize them in any way? The city area is bland there is no commerce here, you can't buy, sell, or trade any equipment which can be a fun game in and of itself, but sadly is not present, and instead you are left with the only option of buying online cosmetics that change daily, you can use earned in game currency or gems that you use real money to purchase.
The world itself seems to hold wonders, but after flying from one location to the next it feels like you are in a museum walking through a statue display, while they are interesting to look at, that is all it is, there are no clues as to the what the ruins were used for or why they are even there. Bioware could have had etchings on the wall explaining different areas as well as clues of where to find hidden treasures, which would make you want to explore the areas. They do have a little bubbles in places with a pop up explaining what the area is, but you can see this bubble from far away and it's not all that interesting.
Playing with other people would be more enjoyable if the game didn't constantly tell me that I am out of the mission boundaries when another player races to the next area, there is a countdown timer that will automatically teleport you to the new mission area, so you are screwed if you wanted to collect that plant or search the area. When you are teleported, you get to enjoy yet another loading screen. This can happen three or four times during the same mission, it's very annoying.
The Good:
Despite the issues that plague this game I find myself still drawn to it, the different powers that you can equip are interesting when used in the field and have some different combo applications, using these class specific powers is incredibly easy and they recharge by themselves. The shooting is fun, you aim then shoot with you hitting the target, your gun doesn't fly off all aver the place with extreme recoil, even at long distances, which makes for some very satisfying gun battles.
You are in control of your character, there will be no excuses that you died because of lag infested controls and terrible reaction times. The control is tight and precise, fly, dodge shoot, or run at ant given time with no delay. There are some very interesting guns and suit perks that you can enjoy, and you can see the difference when using them on the field.
Matchmaking is quick and painless, I have seen no time difference when loading into the game by yourself or with three random people. You can go off by yourself if you like, which I enjoy, but if the mission is too difficult you can always retry it with a group of other people.
The art, graphics, animation, and characters are excellent, they put a lot of time into these systems and it shows, everything is seamless with next to no clipping or characters passing through each other.
The world itself is beautiful, water effects, leaves on trees, and even underground caves are well thought out and always show something new when visiting them, there are animals that are not a threat roaming about which gives the world more life.
I do like this game and I will continue to play it, There is nothing that I would have to buy with real money, there is no need for micro transactions unless you haven't made enough in game currency for your cosmetic upgrade.
It's fun and I enjoy it, who knows, maybe you will too.

Definition Of Free
- Able to act or be done as one wishes; not under the control of another.
- Not physically obstructed or fixed.
- Not subject to engagements or obligations.
- Not subject to or affected by (something undesirable)
- Given or available without charge.
If you need a service on your desk top, or lap top computer, you might look online and find that almost all of the programs advertise that they are "Free". When you download them and try to use it after giving out your email and personal information, you find that it is not free and to actually use their product effectively they want you to pay. This is called a trial.
I recently download an app called Bandmix, where it is supposed to allow you to find other musicians to play with who are looking for the same thing, and it claims it is "Free" to use, and you can go in and find people in your area who are around the same age and enjoy the same music as you, but if you want to contact them, guess what, you have to pay.
I have no problem paying for a service if I want to use it, but be upfront to begin with, let me know what I'm getting into before I go through the whole sign up procedure only to find out everything they claimed was a lie.
Can you imagine buying a stove at the store, only to find out that after you get it home and set up that you can't use the oven feature until you go online and purchase a code for you to use it for a month, and after the end of every month you would have to input a new code (With another payment) to use it continuously? This is what most of these apps do after you get them.
This is seriously becoming a huge problem and something needs to be done about it, perhaps even government regulated if people can't be honest and forthcoming. I will not use a product after learning that I have been mislead, no matter how much I want to use it. I think we all need to take this stance with all products.
It's time companies break out their dictionaries and look up the Definition Of Free.

Proving Someone Wrong, To Make Yourself Right
The difference between an argument and a debate is that a debate is not personal, it is only an idea or opinion that could be changed given enough evidence to the contrary. An argument is on a personal level and when some disagrees with your personal belief system and you take offence and fight back, you are not willing to change your opinion.
A debate should be an educational experience for both people involved, sharing their ideas with each other with a common goal of further understanding, but when you try to force your ideals on the other party it can turn nasty.
What's worse is when you or the other person can't let it go after the conversation is over, and then you research your information to find proof of your opinion for the sole purpose of proving the other person wrong, thus making you right.
Some people need to feed their ego, they cannot stand being wrong, and they will go out of their way to prove themselves right even though it can harm their relationship.
Some people don't seem to understand that after a conversation is over, it should stay that way, especially if it ended badly, and no good can come from bringing up the topic again, and this holds especially true, if the only reason that you are bringing it up again, is to prove to the other person, that you were right and they were wrong.
Sometimes you do need to revisit a conversation, to repair the damage done by it and to come to common ground with each other. The topic in question will keep coming up throughout your relationship and it needs to be addressed, but only for the purpose of solving the problem between both parties, and not from malice or for the need to Prove Someone Wrong, To Make Yourself Right.

Bad Designs
How long have vehicles been in production, a hundred years now? Since the center console idea has come out and has been incorporated into just about every single vehicle design out there, and there is a major design flaw that never seems to be addressed: Your hand does not fit between the console and the seat.
I have actually panicked because I thought my hand was going to be stuck between the seat and the console, while I was driving yet. I had dropped a slice of tomato that was on my hamburger somehow in between the console and the seat of my truck. After a few quick swear words I tried to fish it out but as I squeezed my hand down to get the slice of tomato the opening got bigger before I could reach it and the tomato got further and further down the more I tried to reach for it, until I hit that tight spot of no return and my hand was so tightly wedged in there that I couldn't pull it out.
Now we could go into distracted driving and whatnot, but that's not what this article is about, it's about the serious design flaw of the seat or the console or how the two things work against each other. I can remember being 16 and having my first vehicle with the same sort of incident as the tomato, happening back at that age as well. I think it became a problem when bucket seats came out.
Did you know that it has become such a problem that there are things you can buy that other companies have made to help prevent stuff from falling in between the seat and console? It has become such a problem that people have actually tried to invent something to stop it from happening.
These car manufacturing companies have a serious design flaw in their vehicles, it's hard to clean, dangerous (if you are an idiot like me), and just plain stupid that it hasn't been addressed yet, fries can get stuck in there and rot and mold, and one day you may be out driving and think to yourself "What is that godawful smell?"
It's time they address this issue, it's not something new that has happened, it has been around for a long time, it's time someone did something with these Bad Designs.

Male Abuse?
So it seems that male abuse is on the rise, and it makes sense if you
take into account the fact that women are striving to be on an equal
footing as men when it comes to life in general. They want the same
jobs, the same roles and responsibilities and the same respect that men
garner. Well, they have it.
I have always thought women have had it better than men, they don't have to approach a guy or pay for a date, it comes to them, and they get to pick and choose. A good man takes care of his woman, treats her well and generally goes out of his way to make her happy. Women do this as well, but being a guy I know it doesn't take much to make me happy, food and intimacy if you boil it down.
I never really took physical abuse from a woman to be an issue in a male and female relationship, guys are generally stronger and can defend themselves without fighting back if need be, but I just read a story the other day when a woman poured boiling water over her boyfriend because he upset her, this woman was hell on wheels, and he put up with her for quite some time before he finally had enough and told police what was happening.
I always thought it would be the psychological manipulation in a relationship, a woman could easily beat her spouse down with mental abuse, deny intimacy, never be happy with anything that he does and constantly is nagging him to do more and be better, but he will never live up to her expectations.
This is what the world is becoming, or that's what this world is and has been for a long time, the only difference is, that now, guys are just starting to come forward and tell their side of the story. Why is it so hard to be nice to each other? And if you don't like where you are in life then it's up to you to change it.

A Long Painful Drive
I live on an acreage out of the city, it takes me on average about thirty minutes to get to the edge of the city, then whatever shopping I need to do gets done as I drive from place to place before I go home.
Yesterday I had to work in the city in the University of Alberta area it took about an hour for me to get to my job site. I worked all day and finished the job at around four o'clock before I started to make my way home.
The city is an absolute nightmare at this time, and I can see how road rage would definitely become a thing when dealing with the other drivers who are also trying to make their way home. Something needs to change with the way we drive through the city, people that have to deal with this insanity every day, can not be right in the mind.
Construction is a huge issue, forcing a roadway that used to be four lanes down to two lanes really slows down the commute, add in some of the most ignorant drivers into the mix and you have a recipe for disaster, people force their way into your lane after trying to speed past everyone on the merge lane before it ends.
Take away the construction and you are still left with the ignorant drivers who don't pay attention. There was a bus that was clearly broken down in the lane opposite to mine and you could see it from a long way away, yet I had a driver right beside me that didn't slow down or speed up to get past or behind me into my lane, but instead stayed in that lane until the last possible second before they merged into my lane without looking, almost forcing me off the road as I slammed on my brakes and swerved toward the ditch. I honestly believe that if had hit them and been stopped, that I would be in jail for murder, because I would have killed them I was so angry.
It took me two miserable hours to get home, two miserable hours of getting more and more stressed out at every minute, twice as long as it took me to get there in the first place. I am no longer surprised to hear about a disgruntled worker on a shooting spree, I only wonder why there aren't more of them after dealing with the nightmare of driving in the city at rush hour. If we could eliminate just one thing in our lives that would make it better, I would have to say we could all eliminate A Long Painful Drive.

Life Lessons
When I turned 16, I had to go and get my drivers license, and after I did I drove around in my parents car for a year before I saved up enough money to finally buy my own vehicle, and when I did, I never realized the connection you have with your first car.
I often imagined of winning the lottery and would dream about all the stuff I would buy, but for some reason, a new car was not part of that dream, and instead of a new vehicle I often thought of how I would fix up the one I had.
For the longest time I thought I was going to keep my very first car for the rest of my life. (Thank god I grew out of that phase) My first car was a Hyundai Pony and it died a few months after I had it. In my infinite wisdom I decided that I should buy another Hyundai pony, and I searched around until I found one. Stupidity strikes three times, because after that one died as well, I bought yet a third one. Young and dumb.
I finally relinquished my love for the pony, and stared trying different vehicles. After those first few years of hanging on to something that was familiar then finally trying something new, was an eye opening experience indeed.
It taught me that the car was just a thing, a tool to get me to and from a location, a way to go on a date in private, and it had a certain social status. Mine was "totally average guy" who had his own vehicle, even though it was a hunk of junk.
There is no reason to get sentimental with something that can and will get replaced, and these days if my vehicle starts giving me problems, I have no issues trading it in for a different one. I need reliability more than prettiness or social status. It takes a while but eventually life teaches you a lesson that no one else could ever teach you.
